AMENDMENT TO ADMISSIONS AND CONTINUED OCCUPANCY POLICY

&

CROMWELL HILLS APARTMENTS MANAGEMENT PLAN

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

The Chattanooga Housing Authority (“CHA”) is proposing a revision to its Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (“ACOP”) for the Low Income Public Housing Program.  This change modifies Section 3.3.3 entitled “Ordered Selection Preferences” to include in Category 2 the following language “Up to 10 unites at the Villages at Alton Park will be made available to homeless families who participate in the Hamilton County Schools’ End School-Age Homelessness Initiative.

The CHA also proposes a revision to the Cromwell Hills Apartments Management Plan.  This change modifies Preference Category 1 in Section 3.2 entitled “Waiting Lists” by deleting reference to the Hamilton County Sherriff’s Department FUSE Program and inserting in its place “Hamilton County Schools’  End School-Age Homelessness Initiative.”

The CHA is pleased to provide a 30-day period to receive written comments from residents/participants and other members of the community about these proposed modifications.
