CONTRACTOR SERVICES FOR ABATEMENT OF BOYNTON TERRACE APTS. ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT 955 BOYNTON DRIVE

The Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) is requesting sealed bids from qualified firms to provide Contractor Services for the abatement of asbestos in the Administration Building located at 955 Boynton Drive.  


    IFB documents may be obtained from the Bonfire website, https://chahousing.bonfirehub.com/portal  Questions are to be submitted through the Q&A portion of the Bonfire website by 5:00 pm EDT on May 21, 2020.  Addenda will be issued and acknowledged through the Bonfire website as necessary.  Project specifications and drawings can be reviewed at:

Project pre-bid and building inspection will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the site, 955 Boynton Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37402.  Pre-bid meeting/inspection will include a tour of building, discussion of scope, and instructions to bidders.  If you would like a hard copy set of the specifications to be available for you at the pre-bid, please contact Mike Gray at 4235951135 or email to mikegray@alternativeactionsinc.com.

 

Hard copy sets require a non-refundable fee of $95.00 per set paid to Alternative Actions, Inc.


Sealed bids will be received by submission of 1 complete Electronic proposal in pdf/A (Archival) format at https://chahousing.bonfirehub.com/portal.

 

This is mandatory. Log on to register as soon as possible.  Submit your bid through their website per directions in IFB and provided by Bonfire.  Documents may be deleted, revised, and reposted at any time before the final deadline.  Original signature hard copy will be required from the awardee only.  Deadline to submit bids online to the Bonfire website is 2:00 pm EDT Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at which time there will be a public bid opening in the Board Room at CHA’s Central Office, 801 N. Holtzclaw Avenue, Chattanooga, TN  37404.  Bids will be downloaded from the Bonfire website and read aloud.


No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the above stated bid date.  CHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bids.

SOLICITATION #V-880-00

HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM (HCVP)

PROJECT-BASED ASSISTANCE FOR EXISTING HOUSING UNITS

 

     The Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) has identified a need in the jurisdiction of the CHA which includes the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County, TN, for certain affordable housing opportunities for families or individuals.  CHA will make available project-based vouchers in its HCVP for existing efficiency, one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom units located in Chattanooga and throughout Hamilton County.

by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 25, 2020.  Emails should be clearly marked "RFP #V-880-00, HCVP Project-Based Assistance for Existing Housing Units."  The original documents will be requested from those entities that are awarded the project-based vouchers.
