The Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) is currently soliciting bids for GENERAL CONTRACTOR services for Emma Wheeler Homes complete unit turn (cleaning, painting, and maintenance) of 3 units. (see attached scope of work)

 

Deadline to submit bids via sealed bid proposal or e-mail is 4 :00 pm EDT Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at which time there will be a public bid opening at Emma Wheeler Homes management office, 4900 Edingburg Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37410.

 

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom

located at 4900 Edingburg Drive. Chattanooga, TN 37410. The meeting will include a tour of the units. The maintenance supervisor for EWH will be present. Due to the extent of this project, recorded attendance from a qualified representative is strongly recommended in order to submit a qualified bid. Observe preventative health measures while in attendance:

1.    Wear a protective mask.

2.    Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from other persons.

3.    Remain at home if you feel sick.

4.    Practice good personal hygiene.

5.    Temperatures will be taken.

 

Bids must be submitted plainly marked as follows: "IFB Solicitation #O-882-08 - CHA Emma Wheeler Homes." The following information must also be present: Bidder's name, state license number and expiration date; name of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning subcontractors and their respective state license numbers and expiration dates, and the date and time of bid opening. This information is outlined in the bid cover sheet in CHA Project Manual front end.

 

Each contractor submitting a proposal must hold a license to operate in the State of Tennessee. All contractors and subcontractors must be licensed in accordance with TCA §62-6-119. Bidders must provide all contractors' and subcontractors' current licenses with bid. Bids must be submitted according to the "Instructions to Bidders."

 

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the official bid date. CHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any abnormalities in the bids.

 

Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity. Davis Bacon wage rates, as set forth in the specifications, are the prevailing wage rates for this project.

 

A Bid Bond will be required for contracts that are more than $100,000. The successful bidder for a project over $100,000 will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Payment and Performance Bond. When a Payment and Performance bond is required or applicable, the actual cost of the Payment and Performance Bond will be the responsibility of the contractor to include in base bid and will not be reimbursed by owner. Each bidder of a contract totaling greater than

$100,000 shall accompany his/her bid with a signed certificate from a Surety Company acceptable to the Owner stating that such surety will provide the bidder, if awarded the Contract, with required Payment and Performance Bond.

IPA ANNUAL AUDIT SERVICES AND TAX SERVICES

 

      The Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Independent Public Accountant Annual Audit Services for CHA and an LLC subsidiary and some Tax Services for the LLC.  You may have received a notification from Bonfire (a procurement website) regarding this solicitation.  Be sure to check your Spam folder.  Please respond by going to the Bonfire website link and registering as soon as possible per their instructions and download the complete RFP documentation. 


      PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:  All proposals must be submitted and received online at https://chahousing.bonfirehub.com/portal by 4:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 (per instructions in the RFP and below).  A total of one (1) electronic/digital copy in pdf/A (Archival) format must be submitted, with the Fixed Fee Schedule submitted via a Bid Table on the Bonfire website.  Note: Respondents may transmit MS Word or Excel documents for budgets, exhibits or other attachments.

      The documents must clearly state they are proposals in response to:  RFP #F‑888-00 – IPA Annual Audit Services and Tax Services - Due: October 14, 2020, 4:00 P.M. EDT.

       Offeror’s full contact information should be included in the Transmittal Letter.  Proposals submitted after the published deadline will not be accepted.

The Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) is currently soliciting bids for GENERAL CONTRACTOR services for Greenwood Terrace Apartments roof replacement.

Deadline to submit bids online to the Bonfire website is 1 :30 pm EDT Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at which time there will be a public bid opening In the Board Room at CHA's Central Office, 801 N. Holtzclaw Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404. Bids will be downloaded from the Bonfire website and read aloud.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday. August 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenwood Terrace Apartments, located at 3056 Qee Qrjve. Chattanooga, TN 37406. The meeting will include a tour of the building. The project manager for CHA will be present.
